Full of joy and peace

When I think of someone that is full of joy and peace there are various types of people in various types of situations that come to mind.

I think of a little child happily singing their own composed song as they play with their toys.

I think of that person running in the park without a care in the world, whistling. Chances are they have horrible form as they run, but they look so happy you still cannot help but envy.

I think of someone rocking in a rocking chair on their front porch enjoying the creation around them.

I think of sitting on a beach with the breeze blowing through and the waves lulling all living things around to sleep.

I think of skipping instead of walking to get to a destination.

I think of a woman riding a bicycle with fresh fruit in her basket and her scarf blowing in the wind behind her.

I think of a group surrounding a piano singing songs together.

I think of a man flying a brightly colored kite on a beautiful blue sky kind of day.

I think of curling up underneath a warm blanket, with a good book, and a cup of hot tea.

I think of listening to a favorite song while dancing around the kitchen.

I think of all green lights as one drives to a destination.

I think of warm chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven ready to be devoured.

And when I think of someone that has ultimate never-ending joy and peace,

I think of someone who loves God, trusts God, and relies on God’s guidance and power.

“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
