Triumphant

Can you think of a time in your life when you felt truly triumphant?

Maybe you accomplished a challenging task. Maybe you conquered a personal health crisis. Perhaps, there was a time when you actually were the bigger person in a disagreement.

Psalm 95:1-2 reads

Come, let’s shout joyfully to the Lord, shout triumphantly to the rock of our salvation! Let’s enter his presence with thanksgiving; let’s shout triumphantly to him in song.

Merriam-Webster dictionary defines the word triumphant as victorious, conquering, rejoicing for or celebrating victory. Right now it seems that our world is in chaos. We live in days of controversy, uncertainty, and unrest. Yet, may your hearts not be hardened no matter what it is you find yourself facing. As the Israelites wandered in the wilderness they ran the risk of hardened hearts. However, God commands. Worship Me! Trust Me! Find victory in Me! May we live as people of triumph trusting and worshiping God.

May you make being present with God a priority. May you live out each day expressing gratitude for blessings big and small. Remember God is your rock in which you find salvation. Put your hope in the Lord. Walk through your day with more confidence than when you know you are wearing the perfect outfit. You are clothed in the victory of Christ! Live with an attitude of optimism. You don’t got this, but God’s got this! Shout with joy! Shout with triumph! God is there to help all who find themselves wandering in their own wilderness. We will find triumph when we worship and trust Him!
