The Suncatcher Series Part 3: Tis So Sweet

One of the suncatchers hanging on the window in my daughter's room is a cupcake complete with a cherry on top. When I look at it, the cupcake reminds me of the importance of having faith like a child and enjoying each simple pleasure of life. The littlest thing can make a child happy for hours. It could be a lollipop, a piece of paper and a couple of crayons, or even a small ball that bounces. It could even be the perfect tree to sit and play under for hours that brings a child joy. The tree in the background with this suncatcher is such a tree for my daughter and the neighbor next door.

I love the warm colors that my daughter painted into this suncatcher. It reminds me of all of the sweet delights God blesses us with that can warm the heart and bring joy to our lives.

Such as

-a warm cup of coffee from a friend

-a beautiful sunrise

-an encouraging word

-a delicious meal

-a warm winter day

-an unexpected peaceful moment

-a good night's sleep

=a card in the mail

-an answered prayer

-reading God's Word

and so much more!

"O taste and see that the Lord is good;

happy are those who take refuge in him."

(Psalm 34:8).
