As the weather gets warmer and the days grow longer, it feels as if summer will be here before we know it. Do you remember what it was like when you were a youth at the dawning of a new summer? There was something so special about those long easy carefree days. I can remember lying in my bed each night after a long carefree summer day listening to crickets outside my window and feeling the gentle air from my ceiling fan blow across my face. As the air kissed my cheeks and the crickets sang me to sleep my heart felt at peace, and as I drifted off to sleep life seemed full of potential with endless possibilities.
Do you remember the feeling of a carefree summer filled with peace and possibilities? As an adult you can still have this not just during summer but every day of your life. As you learn to trust fully in God every single day the Lord will fill you with His peace and through Him, your possibilities are truly endless. Remember God is reigning over you, and the Lord will continue to guide you through every season and stage of your life. So relax, kick back in a lawn chair, sip some lemonade, embrace the sights and sounds of God’s creation, and trust that the Lord’s got this.
